Cheeky short session at Pevensey as it was sort of 'en-route' back from a visit to 4boards .... I had to return the loaned Hyper-X and collect my repaired Manta plus a nice new replacement Nik Baker 40cm slalom fin, plus a nice Windsurfing Hawaii Carbon boom to replace one that was showing it's age after yesterdays outing (it was 5 yrs old and been well used !).

Rude not to re-aquaint Manta with the 7.0m GTX and fit with new fin and boom for a quick spin. No-one out, Stu (kiter) sat on a groyne having walked it upwind to the carpark so he could do a downwinder back to his home beach (he had a 10m up and it wasn't enough ... he drifted downwind and launched his 18m instead)

Marginal session, planed a bit going out but was on and off ... coming back in could use waves to get going & to go through lulls ... wasn't a great session all in all, but nice to have my Manta back

Gerry Anderson did the repair and a fine job he did too . He's based real close to Hayling .... his no is 02392 413413 .... should your boards need such attention at some time, or you can drop boards into 4boards and they'll drop it over to him and collect when it's done for you.
